Junior will win this i feel.
Gummy Toomey has a good chin & reasonable defense, so it should go to the distance, but i feel the extra size on Junior will be the major difference.
I reckon a 98-92 type score for Junior, with maybe a late KO chance for him too.

yeh gummy is a good solid fighter with a good chin and defence but he is pretty walk-up, I just feel that junior is a bit to skilled for him

Gummy hasn't quite been the same fighter since he left the Tweed. Needs to get himself back into top shape.

junior's last 2 fights has been knock outs.

first one to ko hardcore hadlow too. i was at the fight and hadlow was knocked out cold!

junior will tire toomey after 5 rounds i reckon.

Yeah his power is good enough. He has concussive power in both hands, he is still learning though and is finding the most effective way he can put away guys because a lot of his early fights he shot his load when he hurt someone and missed most of his follow ups.

    Icing Hardcore is pretty impressive..

I think he is an average puncher, somewhere in the middle. Not a naturally big banger but by no means a light hitter.

I was at the fight as well, he did knock him but he was also put down himself by Hardcore not a known big puncher, I also thought he was losing up until that knock down (even though it was only the 3rd round)
I think Toomey might surprise everyone, if hes fit he certainly takes some beating, I reckon he might be a bit too crafty for Jr

if you were at the fight vs hadlow you would of seen junior rock hadlow first in the 3rd round with a left hook then hadlow pushed junior to the floor which the ref said it was a push and warned hadlow for it. there was no knock down at all. 20 seconds later it was all over. KNOCKOUT.
toomey hasnt fought anyone relentless and patient like junior.
it will be a good one though.

Mate, I agree he kocked him out, but I was sitting ringside Hardcore definetely caught him on the way in, he went down, the ref was in a bad spot and ruled it a slip, Hardcoe got carried away and rushed in and Jr got desperate/lucky and caught Will with a hard shot, all over.

He's obviously got power bur Hard core won the first 2 rounds.

With Texan Joe on this one, I was there for that as well and for what it's worth me, Bobby Byrd, Pete Podgorski and Bruce McTavish all agreed. A great finish by Junior though (Hadlow got a rush of blood and walked into the ender), I think he is a bigger puncher than most give him credit for - I think it comes down to the platform he is throwing them from sometimes. I think he will knock out a lot more as he goes on and think he is a big chance to stop Gummy
