Mares looked good last night. He was fighting a journeyyman but the guy didn't just roll over, he put up a bit of a fight. Mares was in control the whole time. He used very intelligent agression and worked the head and body the entire fight. His handspeed was good and by the 5th round Almanza had had enough. Beating a game journeyman is one thing, will he be ready for a tough guy like Perez? I'm really looking foward to that fight.

I agree, bad decision. Wilson won that fight 4-0. The announcers were already talking about it being a good win for him before the decision was even announced. You could see how upset he was when the decision was announced.

I really hated to see that. I like Wilson and think he has a ton of potential.
