Hello, 1. If anybody hear some news about next Fight Night game? Are they (EA) working on it? 2. Which boxer would you like to see there? 3. Why the hell there is no Rocky marciano in part 3, George Foreman at all parts and many many others? Is there is only the matter of money/license? Or sth else as well? 3. Who do you think was made too strong and who - too weak, as a boxer in the previous parts? Thanks! Bye!
i heard awhile back it was being developed. id like to see them weed out the past prime fighters for newer fighters..take out maybe gatti ward and put in guys like joe c williams and pavlik
I agree but Williams no way.... That would be stupid. He's overrated and only known to the hardcore boxing fans. They should add Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Kessler, Calz, Pavlik, Miranda, Wlad, Peter, Hayemaker, Chad Dawson Joan Guzman, Both Marquez brothers, Israel Vazquez, and for the Old School guys add Tyson, Hearns, Whitaker, Trinidad, etc. With a much bigger line-up of fighters the game would be a whole lot more entertaining and more realistic, and it would be the best boxing game to date if this happens.
EA has been doing some major overhaul to its company and a lot of changes were made, one which included closing EA Sports Chicago division, which is in charge of the Fight Night games. So no more Fight Night anytime soon. EA said that they are not done with the series though but have not given any hints for FN4 being in development. Hopefully it is but for now I am looking forward to Prize Fighter.
They should add Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, Kessler, Calz, Pavlik, Miranda, Wlad, Peter, Hayemaker, Chad Dawson Joan Guzman, Both Marquez brothers, Israel Vazquez, and for the Old School guys add Tyson, Hearns, Whitaker, Trinidad, etc. As far as I remember they have already Mayweather, Mosley... I'm not sure about Cotto... I would like to see Tyson (he needs money, why he doesn't go for it), Dawson, Calzaghe, Haye, Adamek, Golota, Bowie, Waluev. First fight I would do, would be Bowie-Golota
I read on IGN thats FNR4 was in development! No other details!! I doubt that Perer Or Calz will appear as theya re in Don Kings Prizefighter already
Pavlik and Calzaghe are in Don Kings game, so thats a no go for fight night, plus the development is on hold indef.
IF only DON King's damn name wasn't on Prizefighter, it would perfect...Pavlik...Calzaghe...Larry Holmes...hell, MIKE TYSON!!! EA can squander things all they want with that Facebreaker crap. I don't care.
Yeah, maybe, still, couldn't they just take real fighters and go over-the-top with gameplay like all those other EABIG titles?
from what I understand, they aren't making a FNR4. Instead it's some cartoony boxing game. Hopefully I'm wrong.
I did a Prizefighter thread two weeks back - I think the link was something like www.y2k/prizfighter or donkingsprizefighter or something. It's on Wii and 360. Looks like a close cousing of fight night and has a pretty varied roster on it. 1. If anybody hear some news about next Fight Night game? Are they (EA) working on it? There was some upheaval with EA selling and closing some production houses, but I believe the franchise was touted on a 2009 EA release schedule and the IGN mention seemed to back that up. 2. Which boxer would you like to see there? I'd like to see a lot more fighters on the roster generally - But realistically - Boxers don't sign up to FIFA or NFL or the NBA etc so their image licence is individual and therefore I just hope the CAB system is even more flexable than Round 3's was. 3. Why the hell there is no Rocky marciano in part 3, George Foreman at all parts and many many others? Is there is only the matter of money/license? Or sth else as well? See above. Marciano had appeared on previous installments, Holmes hadn't since EA's old Knockout Kings Series from the previous generation (PS1) 3. Who do you think was made too strong and who - too weak, as a boxer in the previous parts? I think the straight right hand in general was underpowered for all the fighters. Patterson was the most obviously poor rendtion, slow hands, too big - Just nothing like the real guy except in hairstyle. Josak - The game you're thinking off is a new boxing game based on the old Ready To Rumble series and is more cartoony - It has nothing to do with the Fight NIght Franchise.
