I think that the odds indicate that the bookmaker's are presuming that Briggs is just coming back for a good payday and won't seriously trouble Green after his long layoff etc etc.
I agree also. I only give Briggs a very small punchers chance to win this fight. Lets be fair dinkum here, he is just coming back for one last fight (which is a big matchup for Aussie boxing) and what should be a very good payday for him. Good luck to him but he won't win the fight imo.
I think he might have lost the fight when approaching the ring.. All the murky occurences in his life over the last years might be tapping on his shoulder during the walk from the dressing room to the ring.
Bookmakers don't offer $6 on a horse in a 2 horse race without reason. Green winning is a surer thing than New Years Day falling on the 1st of January 2011.
....and in true bookie style they're attempting to make the outsider look attractive with what appears to be an over-the-odds quote.
the odds are right IMO.Paul has little chance.because they're mates i predict Danny to carry him for 6 rounds and KO him in the 7th.pick what round it ends is the only way you will get a decent return.
