Ali by knockout within 8. Nothing to even make me pause for thought on that call.

Yes,,,it's hard to visualize Joshua's name and fight of any century in the same sentence. Geez! this guy was stopped by Andy Ruiz!!!!!

I think a better fight of the century for Joshua would be with Tony (two ton ) Galento. Just imagine another war with a overweight tub who hits hard

    Ali, with relative ease.

How many versions of Joshua have we witnessed in 25 contests? Or, is this option given in order to exclude the "version" that got beaten up by a virtually unknown, unrated Ruiz Jr?

Even post-exile Ali was leagues beyond Joshua, in every department, save power.

Is that realistic? Ali couldn't take out Bonavena until round 15, and he went the distance twice with George Chuvalo.

How would Ali defend himself when AJ gets on the inside and manhandles him with his superior strength and size? Surely he'd be taking damage?

Same way he always handled himself. I haven’t seen the latest Joshua fight, so maybe he showed significant improvement in pressuring and added an impressive new infighting arsenal that I wasn’t aware of. Otherwise I’m not really sure what you’re asking. I don’t see this being a fight dictated on the inside, but on the occasions it is I see Ali giving pretty much as good as he gets.

In reference to Bonavena, he was stopped one time in 68 career bouts against the likes of Joe Frazier (twice), Floyd Patterson, Zora Folley (twice), George Chuvalo, Ron Lyle, and Jimmy Ellis. That one time was the Ali fight you mentioned.

Chuvalo is known more for his granite chin than anything else, so I’m not sure where you’re going with that one.

It would only be the “ fight of the century “ if it were held on January first of the new century.

    Ali by wide decision

I was referring to the version of Ali that fought Frazier in 1971.

Bum ass AJ loses to any Ali pre-1978.

Using the prime version is almost unfair to Joshua.

60s Ali would chew AJ's non-knowing-how-to-fight ass up and spit him out.
