Frazier ('68, 203lbs) vs. Marciano ('52,189¾lbs) would be a great brutal trench war.

I chose such versions to minimize the size difference to a mere 13lbs, so Rocky should be able to stand & trade, especially considering his much greater P4P strength & power.

 

I think in general, not just P4P Marciano was stronger and hit harder.

My fight of the century pick is definitely Marciano-Frazier.

What about Dempsey vs Ali?

That could be built prety big as a cross era fight, given what they both represented in their seperate eras.

but robinson vs monzón and louis vs dempsey would be a hell of fights as well.

 

the lightest rocky weighed 178 pounds, the lightest frazier weighed 200 pounds and he had no fat in the body. honestly i think that any version of frazier 68-71 would beat marciano, frazier was better fighter, plain and simple. faster, better skill, better defence,faster hands and faster legs. he had equal stamina, much heavier,he was bigger, he had longer reach, i would give the edge in the heart to joe too.frazier was more aggresive.he was better body puncher. the hitting power of marciano is overrated absolutely. frazier weighed 209 and rocky 186 pounds. and you have no proof to say that marciano was stronger. i think that the left hook of frazier and the right hand of rocky were comparable in hitting power. frazier was a better version of marciano.

 

All extremely interesting matchups. But I don't think I could go against Louis and Dempsey.

Also im assuming that Duran and Williams would be at lightweight right? If that's the case Williams might crack a bit too hard for Duran.

I think Dempsey-Marciano would be way more entertaining than Frazier-Marciano.
