    I re-watched Gatti/Ward I thanks to another thread and it got me wondering...what fight has not been made yet that you guys think would have that kind of potential, meaning candidate for fight of the decade/century.

    Oh, and I don't mean pre-fight hype because than it would be Pac/Mayweather, I mean what fight do you think could deliver the action.

    Corales Castillo I for me.

    Like Gatti Ward I but an even higher level - That's just me - I wouldn't argue though - GREAT fight.

    Was the whole fight pretty much of that quality, or was it just the last round?

    Barrera/Morales 1 deserves that title IMO.

    Gatti/Ward was special because of the theatrics and the pacing - the way things specifically happened. It was like a movie from beginning to end. Corrales/Castillo I all happened in the last round - if you aren't a fight fan. The two sided beating part would lose alot of "sports fans." Morales/Barrera I had extreme violence, and various lulls in intensity - compared to the way some people would tell it. ALL great fights.

    what fight hasnt been made yet but has the potential,

    some that come to mind are

    - Pac vs Kirkland
    - Pac vs Valero
    - Pac vs Bradley
    - Kirkland vs Margarito

    I think Valero and Marquez would be a classic
    Someone already said Urango-Maidana and i agree
    Arreola - Haye would be fun if Haye doesnt run.
    Abraham-Froch would be good

    Yeah, but it has been a while and the thing that I remember most is the last round.

    I don't know if I still have a copy of it on hand, otherwise I would just watch it again.
