Inspired by my other thread. Tell me what ya think of it. Heavyweights: Riddick Bowe W12 Evander Holyfield. This is no contest, the most action packed heavyweight fight of the past 18 years. Cruiserweights: James Toney W12 Mike McCallum. Alright, I need suggestions for this one; I haven't really followed the 90's cruiserweights, but this fight was not bad at all. Light Heavyweights: Charles Williams TD7 Merqui Sosa. This fight was unbelievable, they beat each other up so bad the doctor decides the fight shouldn't continue! Super Middleweights: Nigel Benn TKO10 Gerald McClellan. Despite the awful tragedy of this bout, there are few fights this savage. Middleweights: James Toney D12 Mike McCallum. If you want a fight that has a little bit of everything, then this fight is beautiful to watch. Benn/Eubank, Castro/Jackson, and McClellan/Jackson run this fight close though. Light Middleweights: Vincent Pettway TKO6 Simon Brown. Knockdowns and dirty tactics galore, coupled with one of the most disturbing knockouts in history. Welterweights: Aaron Davis KO9 Mark Breland. A true slugfest, with both guys just pounding away at each other till one went. Light Welterweights: Julio Cesar Chavez TKO12 Meldrick Taylor. An exciting fight with a great clash of styles, with one of the best come from behind victories ever. Lightweights: Ivan Robinson W10 Arturo Gatti. Both fighters land over 50% of their punches. Incredible slugfest. Super Featherweights: Arturo Gatti KO6 Wilson Rodriguez. The fight that made Gatti, one of the most dramatic fights in recent memory. Featherweights: Naseem Hamed KO4 Kevin Kelley. The fighters swap knockdowns almost as fast as they swap punches, a fight that lived up to the hype for sure. Super Bantamweights: Marco Antonio Barrera TKO12 Kennedy McKinney. The fight that made Barrera and started of BAD, one of the most memorable fights ever, with great ebb and flow.
No, better than the first fight. I think you called smw right. My top 3 at that weight is, 1 Benn/Gman, 2 Eubank/Watson II, 3 Eubank/Benn II
