fight of the decade...

I'm quite aware of that thank you. I was disputing a poster's claim that EM-MAB was the greatest fight of all time when it clearly wasn't.

If I remember correctly people have been saying Gatti - Ward 1 was one of the greatest fights of all time since 2000!??

2. Not long enough to be the greatest fight ever

I like MAB-Morales. Pure hatred for each other, and a classic Mex vs Mex war with all kinds of ups and downs and momentum changes - that fight had it all....

 

EM-MAB 1 is clearly better than Gatti/Ward, in my opinion.

i like gatti-ward 1, ward-augustus 1, barrera-morales 1 all better but it's a matter of opinion

 

i've been saying it for YEARS. rarely do people give it the credit it deserves. i've always put it higher than castillo/corales which was a great fight of the year but it was missing something for me

 

i think unanimous was how come we all don't unanimously agree.

ummm... this decade, I don't know if anything else compares to those... maybe Vasquez-Marquez 1 ?

 

1 or 2 from that trilogy would be good. I'm a big fan of MAB-Morales 3. Pac-Marquez 1 and 2 were great as well. But you're right, nothing is jumping out at me yet

Hardly. Morales outlanded Marco in power punches over the 12 rounds, and the so-called 'knockdown' was the result of a collision of hips.

I'd give this fight #1 spot for this decade, but not THE greatest fight of all times.
