I know I said I wasn't doing it, but if we're all going stir crazy, and I don't have any exams to study for... why not?

Saad Muhammad vs John Conteh 1

Orlando Salido vs Juan Manuel Márquez

Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Márquez 2

José Napoles vs Curtis Cokes 1

    Michael Spinks vs Eddie Davis

Jung Koo Chang vs Hilario Zapata 1

And since we're doing it, and I'm using it as a chance to share/air-out my watch list, why doesn't someone like @The Morlocks help Jel out with his best LHW fights list between '76 and '83.

    Enjoy!

Apart from Manny & Gatti & sometimes Ward, I think Salido has been the most exciting fighter the last 25 yrs hands down. More than Morales Bareerra Castillo Coralles the 2 superbantamweight guys anyone.
Just a great fighter to take our yr career set of and watch beginning to end.

I was at a lot of those middleweight-lt heavyweight fights in the PhiladelphiaACPennsyvaniaNewYork area throughout the 70s to 1984 abouts. You want a suggestion, find the unfindable, find Billy "DYNOMITE" Douglas' career fights. The man fought them all. Never, ever backed down and guaranteed yr moneys worth. Most often on undercards. R. I. P. My friend. Thanks for coming out Billy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm loving Salido, I think he's the most exciting fighter since Gatti.
@Jel. Take this help as you will. ;)

ATG performance, what more can I say. The man took apart a borderline great and gave him a boxing lesson. Napoles' head-movement and footwork was insane, on this night, he's one of the slickest ever.

His perfect blend of offence and defence, along with his sharp hooks to the body broke Cokes down and beat him into submission.

I think I had it a shutout last time I watched it but will rewatch for the sheer enjoyment of seeing a master at work.

You can argue a shut out. I thought the first (and 8th) were the closest rounds.

Wasn't Manny v Marquez 2 on one of the FOTW threads? Might replace with Pacquiao-Morales as I haven't seen that one for years and @escudo reminded me of it in the podcast. Blinding fight as I remember.

Erm. Yeah, yeah it was. However, so was Morales/Pacquiao.

I present to you, Myung-Woo Yuh vs Mario Alberto Demarco, recommend by Hank. It's one of the most action packed fights I've ever seen.

Before I get into my card, I'll disclose I had it for Zapata by a point last time. This time I had it 9-5 out of the 14 available rounds. Dunno how I got Zap winning last time thinking about it. I'll have to

Zapata far from shying away from his illegal tactics. Be it hitting slightly low or hitting on the break, didn't matter to him. That said, he showed some excellent defence and a good left. Eager to trade too. Chang clearly wasn't a good style for Zap though, his highly skilled, front-running whilst elusive gave Zapata all sorts of issues, and obviously I had him winning.

Some real ATG skills shown here, be it feints, footwork or defence, the skill was there and so was the action. Great fight.

@scartissue you gonna try and get to these? Your controversial theme would fit Chang/Zapata and possibly Spinks/Davis (depending on who you ask).

Eddie beat Michael that day. I have zero doubt.
