I actually enjoyed some of the back-and-forth between Steward and Merchant at times. Manny was doing a great job with the big picture analysis but I agreed with Merchant that he was getting a bit carried away focusing on predicting how the fight was going to turn out while glossing over some of the action that was actually taking place. Lampley, as usual, was an almost complete waste of space who routinely got excited about nothing punches and completely overlooked more meaningful ones.

9-3 Mayweather LMAO.... Not surprising where the card came from.

I'll be looking at this fight tomorrow to rescore it.

I eagerly await the opinion of some emotionally driven poster on a boxing forum. His opinion holds far more weight than that of the professional judges who scored the fight.

I really think a good many people (not all) score this for Castillo merely because they don’t like Floyd, and are looking for anything to detract from him. Personally I am not a Floyd fan, but think the commentary also helps out on that light as well

Speaking of which, emotionally driven = a 9-3 card for Floyd by NoNeck. Here's a tip, remove the Floyd Mayweather Jr. blowup doll that's currently blocking half of your tv screen. When trying to rescore fights, removing objects blocking the screen helps one get a full picture of the action. You're welcome.

You just wrote a post about a sexual situation involving Floyd Mayweather. I find it interesting that the act of giving a couple close rounds to Floyd could send your mind in that direction.

Just for when I tabulate these at the end of the week does this mean that you scored round:

    8 10-8 for Floyd
    10 9-9

I've seen your posts about Mayweather, which is why the score you provided wasn't a surprise. Me trying to figure out how you viewed a fight through Mayweather goggles, is just that, me trying to figure out was it just goggles or was there something else preventing you from actually watching the fight.

I dislike Mayweather as a person. I do respect his business skills.

Not sure I find @NoNeck as biased as you do? It has not been evident to me in other FOTW’s and since I had this 8-4 I don’t think he is off by much if at all. I assume that since you don’t like Floyd that you might be just as wide the other way...if so will we also need to consider a bias or only for or against fighters you like?

Hey bud, I don't think he's shown bias in other FOTW's, which is why I specifically mention his bias with Floyd threads. I don't love Floyd, but I don't hate he guy either. I can score a fight of his for him, just as I could against him. In fact, every time I've scored Floyd vs. ODLH... I've always come away with Floyd winning by at least 2 points. Most of the decisions he's gotten were the right call and I agree with. I don't think any bias should be there factored into a fight review, but it's frankly impossible for that not to happen. Even if it's not a bias for one fighter or another, some might get put off by, say, Whitaker's style, while others like it and slant towards it. So regardless, there will always be some bias, even if small; but it seems to me (could be wrong) that this bias is a little too slanted in one direction. Just looking at the scores for 8 and 10 should make that clear enough.

Lol....my names not bud never has been....also I was not accusing you of a bias, merely inquiring as to whether you had one. Cheers

Edit: don’t personally feel biased myself and have never been fond enough of Money to call myself a fan. I have grown to appreciate him over the past few years....anyway I scored 8 & 10 the same way, while Pat M had them both 9-9
