    He does seem bad, but I think Paulie is the worst IMO....I remember after Fury vs Wilder, he said “I can’t even do my job”....that has been the only time I agreed with him

    Wow—I couldn’t disagree more!! Paulie is probably the best in the game imo. One of the very few who can speak with nuance about strategy, technique, and the trajectory of a fight.

    Half of the fun is disagreeing lol, I find him horrible. And a cheerleader. I don’t want a biased cheerleader telling me why his guy is winning. Oh well I am glad you find him enjoyable or informative

    Well the week is winding down and we got some decent feedback and exchanges! Hopefully more people will continue to chime in both in these threads, and in the future. I will update the link thread in an hour or two if any wants to check through the older ones. I will tabulate the cards later tonight just in case you wanna get a card in before that! Thanks to all who participate! I love boxing and rewatching and rescoring fights! Can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate havring a few others to do this with regardless of whether we agree or disagree on the results

    Mayweather vs Castillo I

    We had 10 cards submitted with 6 scoring for Mayweather 4 scoring for Castillo and 0 draws

    Round by Round
    1 Mayweather 10-0-0
    2 Mayweather 8-0-2
    3 Mayweather 6-3-1
    4 Mayweather 8-0-2
    5 Mayweather 9-1-0
    6 Castillo 9-0-1
    7 Castillo 10-0-0
    8 Castilio 7-2-1
    9 Draw 4-4-2
    10 Mayweather 6-1-3
    11 Draw 4-4-2
    12 Castillo 9-0-1
    Consensus Score 115-113 Mayweather and 6-4-2 in rounds with both guys losing a point

    Rounds 8 & 10
    Scar scored both for Castillo
    PhillyPhan and no neck scored both for Floyd everyone else split them or scored 1 even.

    Mayweather Cards
    @Pat M 114-112
    @PhillyPhan69 115-111
    @NoNeck 116-110
    @Drew101 114-112
    @Colonel Sanders 114-113
    @mrkoolkevin 116-113

    Castillo Cards
    @surfinghb 115-114
    @scartissue 116-112
    @KuRuPT 116-113
    @Jel 115-114

    Well it looks like the controversy will continue! Hopefully we at least can agree (IMO, but we will see) that this is not a so called robbery or gift decision, but again another close debatable fight that can be scored in a variety of ways.

    Thanks to all who participated and added to the discussion

    So after the backlash, the only round I scored for Mayweather that the consensus scored for Castillo was round 8. I coincidentally watched this round and this round only twice to make sure I got it right.

    Only 6 cards for De La Hoya vs Mayweather, but a varied response 4 cards for Mayweather 0 for Oscar and 2 Draws

    Round by Round
    1 FMJ 5-1-0
    2 DLH 4-2-0
    3 DLH 4-1-1
    4 DLH 5-1-0
    5 FMJ 6-0-0
    6 DLH 4-2-0
    7 DLH 3-2-1
    8 FMJ 3-2-1
    9 FMJ 6-0-0
    10 FMJ 6-0-0
    11 FMJ 6-0-0
    12 DLH 4-1-1

    Oddly our consensus is 6 rounds apiece leading to a consensus draw in RBR scoring.

    Mayweather Cards
    @Pat M 115-113
    @NoNeck 116-112
    @surfinghb 116-113
    @Jel 117-112

    Draw Cards
    @PhillyPhan69 114-114
    @mrkoolkevin 115-115

    Seems like even though our consensus was a draw, and a case can be made for that....no one defended the Oscar card (including me who scored it that way live lol)....pretty close debatable fight where it seems like May has the better case even though I scored a draw. Once again thanks to all who participated and added to the discussion!

    Interesting to me....you had Mayweather by 6 and Scartissue had Castillo by 4, a variance of 10 points which is I believe our largest disparity in any of the FOTW threads and might lend credence to how difficult this fight was to score. I had Floyd by a point when they fought live, scored it a draw about 2 years ago and this time had Floyd by 4.....I think there is a lot of close difficult rounds! I enjoyed the fight and some of the back and forth in this installment

    Love these round ups you do! Great work. This was the hardest fight to score so far imo and even though I had Castillo, it could have gone the other way on my card. Mayweather's performances in both fights seem to me to be strong arguments for the importance of ring generalship in scoring. His punch output is rarely that high but with defense and movement, he gives the impression of controlling the fight and dictating the tempo. I don't enjoy watching him particularly and he's a divisive character, but the guy can box.
