If you wanna do some lower weight fighters, maybe Santos Laciar? He's a great quite a few of us are unfamiliar with, very skilled and aggressive ala Gonzalez.

You could also do Jorge Arce. I don't think the man knew the word 'dull' or how to take a backwards step, and was a rare ring warrior.

I'll have a look, I was gonna do some Too Sharp but a lot of his fights are gone with Flea's channel.

Any barnstormers you'd recommend from Arce and Laciar?

some guys are too busy....others get an hour or so to talk boxing and would rather talk than rewatch which is understandable. I got real frustrated trying to do these and get no input....since my only hobbies are coffee and boxing I don’t sleep much and watch 2-4 fights most days. It’s hard to develop interest. But if you want 4-6 people (like you listed either start a rec thread or PM each of them with 5-10 they want to rewatch or rescore just to get a good balance). IMO

Personally I have 20 fights to watch next week and my adhd may take me down a path of 50 or so back up fights if @roughdiamond does not mention an obscure Asian fighter that piques my curiosity. @scartissue is another guy who scores fights by the bunches

I've been looking for Laciar vs Magri but can't find it. Was a controversial decision for Magri, and I'm sure it was exciting. I'd research his fights with Betulio Gonzalez, Gilberto Roman, Zapata, Ballas etc. The guy fought everyone.

And Arce, any bout of his lol. That's the type of boxer he was. 18 years he was around, so he fought everyone as well. I'd probably look for his bouts against Doanire, Jhonny Gonzalez, Carbajal, Concepcion, Vazquez jr, Choi. Those are what I can think of. I'm not that familiar with him, ashamedly.

Cheers, i don't have time to watch 20 fights a week, especially full 15 rounders.
I know what you mean about going down a random path of fights to watch, I'm supposed to watching Marvin Hagler for a thread on him, yet I've been on a random modern day flyweight expedition and started to rewatch some 70s LHWs.

I'll wait before I start a PM. But it's a good idea and one that's been noted.

Arce Vs Carbajal (great comeback but pretty easy to score)
Arce vs Hussein Hussein I & II
Donaire very short and perhaps Darchinyan vs both Donaire brothers would be fun.
    Arce vs Vazquez Jr.
    Arce vs Darchinyan
Arce vs Mijares (a little one sided)

George, there is an odd fight out there of Jorge Arce i'd like you to see. it only goes 2 rounds and is sort of late in Arce's career, but strange enough to see. I watched it live when it happened. It is Arce against a fighter named Jesus Rojas and it started out like arce was going to make short work of Rojas because he decks him in the first round. But here's the odd part. By the end of the first round, Rojas had turned up the heat and I was predicting a Rojas KO by the end of the first round. What a turnaround! Anyway, at the beginning of the 2nd round, with Rojas continuing where he left off in the 1st, Arce quits saying he was fouled. At first they give him the DQ, but upon closer examination it is changed to a NC. Check it out when you get a spare 10 minutes and see if you agree with me that Arce bailed out.

Just gave it a watch, Helluva first round.

Very strange ending, the headbutt was clearly accidentally and the low blow,
    1. Hit his elbow, 2. Was on a trajectory to hit above the belt line.
The commentators mentioned the left hook to the ear, I put that down to Arce turning his head and diving to the floor.

He may have been seriously hurt from the Headbutt and played on it but no way should Rojas have been DQd, glad it was changed to a NC.

Also @scartissue, are you willing to get involved with these threads when you get the chance?
