Fight of the week April suggestions

    Please suggest the great(est) fights that were fought during the month of April in real life.

    What fights would you like to be able to review, discuss and potentially rescore? What are some of the greatest fights that took place during the month of April throughout history?

    I don’t guarantee to squeeze your picks in but I will certainly look at them. One of my objectives is to find a good variety of fighters, years/eras and weight divisions.

    so far we have looked at
    HW (Ali Frazier I- 1971)
    MW (Duran Barkley 1989)
    SBW (Marquez Vazquez 3 2008)

    since this is classic try to pick fights that happened in 2011 or earlier (nothing in the past 10 years)

    Saad Muhammad vs Marvin Johnson II

    Morales vs Maidana happened ten years ago next month, I don't know if it counts based on that but I'd absolutely be up for watching it.

    The ones in bold are the ones I'd be most interested in scoring and rewatching.

    awesome suggestions bro...I am trying to put together a list of the greatest fights on a month by month basis (with a caveat that they need to be accessible for viewing). I have some of these written down (well all of them in a few minutes lol).

    I do have Morales vs Maidana down (not a definite but I was leaning that way) and agree I would love to watch that one again

    I thought Chang looked listless (props to Torres after his performance in fight 1) in the 2nd fight which is my least favorite of theirs

    It'd be sick in that no-one gave a **** about Mendoza's card apart from laughing at his bias, and now we celebrate his departure by watching that card.
