I finally got around to watching this fight. Holy crap that was brutal! It seems like the more obscure fights are always the more exciting ones that rarely get exposed to the masses. I shall now check the others on your list.

Saucedo-Zappavigna. Nothing comes close to that and i doubt there will be another fight like this in the remaining time.

Wasn't even the best HW fight. Hell, not even in the top 3. Had some good moments sure but largely dull.

Bellew vs Haye II was a cracker. You couldn't take your eyes of that fight for a second.

Have to agree on the Saucedo vs Lenny Z fight. Beautifully brutal

It was a great fight, but the first one was better for me for the pure drama involved.

Fight two was a shoot-out and had some great moments in it like the shoulder shrug after Haye landed a right with no impact on Bellew.

It's just a shame that the Haye-haters **** on that fight so much because it was a great shoot-out between a shot HW and a fat CW from Liverpool.

This past weekend produced three notable shoot-outs.

    Beterbiev-Johnson
    Dulorme-Vargas
    Nagrete-Franco

    All worthy of (honorable) mention.

To quote the DAZN commentator of Dulorme-Vargas at 1:30 of the 12th round "It hasn't been a slugfest. It won't be fight of the year."

And Beterbiev-Johnson was just fine too. They don't deserve honorable anything.

I enjoyed those fights more than some that were listed and I think they're worth mentioning, so I did.

Canelo GGG fight was a good fight but nowhere near the fight of the year ffs.

Both fighters but especially GGG were too scared to pull the trigger.

The rounds were competitive but not action packed.

IMO Usyk vs Briedis was a higher level and more action packed but Gassiev vs Dorticos was my fight of the year to date.

Hurd vs Lara was very good too, you could tell from the opening bell Lara was going to have to come to fight and to his credit he did.

He still lost by a few rounds imo

    Loma - Linares
GGG - Canelo 2 (Another robbery)
    SSR - Estrada
but Okolie vs Askin takes the cake
