    Foty? No way.

Morales v maidana was much better.

And you need to check out rds 1,2,3 of luis concepcion v hernan marquez if you want a few rds were its bombs away. Its sickening.

Yeah the Ref was spot on, any more shots and Urbano was in for trouble.

It was action packed while it lasted thats for sure. I preferred Sturm-Macklin a fight where Mack dominated the 1st half and Sturm finished off strongly in the 2nd a good, close fight.

For me fight of the year so far is Hernan Marquez winning the WBA Flyweight Title vs Luis Concepcion.
    Terrific action fight!!!

Still tho the Rios vs Antillon bout was top quality.
    WAR RIOS!!!!!!

Fair points about Marquez vs Concepcion and Morales vs. Maidana but I can't come in for Ortiz vs Berto, nnnooooo.... :bart

I loved the fight on the weekend, it was just action from the outset and the body of work from both fighters was superb and unrelenting.

What boxing's all about in my opinion.

P.S: Must be something about that 'Home Depot Centre'. It seems like a great little venue and it also hosted Vasquez vs. Marquez I and III and both fights which everybody will remebmer were off the charts, III being voted fight of the year.

From the opening bell it was all war!! Great fight :bbb

Your right about the body punching, i was waiting for one of them to take a knee in the first round after they were trading shots.

I thought Urbano did very well up untill the KD and i didnt think Rios had that type of explosivness in his punches

With all the high profile fighters chasing Pac up to JWW, Rios could very well clean up the division this year if he hangs around.

I agree SJ. Guerrero who's current Interim WBA and WBO is moving up to 140lbs to face Maidana, Soto's vacated the WBC and moving to 140lbs. JMM who's the full champ in the WBA and WBO is moving up to 147lbs for Pac. Suddnely, 135lbs is opening right up and still packed with a lot of talent.

It seems Linares vs DeMarco will be for the vacant WBC Lightweight Title shortly, so the winner of that fight would be interesting for Rios.
Bob Arum has hinted undefeated Mercito Gesta who won on the Rios undercard as a chance for the IBF Title vs Miguel Vazquez...but i have a feeling that Gesta may get a shot at the soon to be vacant WBO Title as he is ranked at number 2 in that.

Ranee Ganoy is being spoken about by the right people in the USA also for a shot. His management's going to give him 2-3 quick fights, tuned up and ready to go.

A huge KO punching Filipino, you'd have to think someone like Top Rank would welcome that... :hey
