Rios would walk right through Linares. Linares has leaky defence and his chin is a real stinker... DeMarco would only be a slightly tougher test.

I agree and I can't get hot on Linares at all.

Oscar and linares want to fight rios. Whether arum wants to talk to them is another thing.

Rios wont be sticking around too long at 135, he will take some beating in and around those weights. I wouldnt expect a long career with his style.

Im hearing urbano is punchy and getting worse. Gym wars with everyone in the LA area has caught up with him as well as a few wars. Hope the people behind him look after him.

He should have stayed at 126 or 130... 135 is too big for him and he wont be able to handle the big punchers like Rios... word is that he has moved to LA and is looking to train under Roach so we might see a new fighter all together

I totally agree Gonzo. Both guys would get beaten up bad by Rios IMO around mid rounds.

However the Lightweight landscape has really opened up as many names - Marquez, Soto, Guerrero etc. have all moved up for their next bouts.

The 1 guy who IMO stylistically would make it hard on Rios for a while is Miguel Vazquez.
Not the most pleasing fighter to watch & disciplined from range. I still favour Rios in this tho.

Did you hear Antillon being interviewed? He slurs like a homeless **** after 50 stubbies of VB. Really needs to consider retiring.

Some of Urbano's ring wars around LA have been sensational.

His old ones with Pacquiao & especially Edwin Valero are quite worth the look.
One tough hombre who was just below the top level.
Never backed out of any challenge & he must be respected for that.

Soto is off his brain moving to 140. He is going to get thrown around like a rag doll by dudes like Alexander and Khan.

I think Soto was pretty small to be honest at 135.
Soto was a natural 126/130 fighter.
Soto is getting a pounding by a full blown top 10-12 140 pounder.
