Pacquiao is great!! NO doubt. But I am one of those not surprised by last night results. I always say Ricky Hatton ain't ****!!! The man can't box. He is just a street fighter. Collazo proved that and that was the only reason Floyd Jr. agreed to fight him. We know Floyd love cherry picking. Last night there was a fight between a great fighter and a nobody. No competitive, just target practice for Manny.

Fight of the year??? Hell no!!!!
Maybe, best fans in boxing, but that's about it.

Hope to see Floyd/Manny before the end of the year. Hard to pick a winner. Mayweather is definitely not Ricky Hatton, and is bigger, but Manny is doing soooo good......

Nah, it didn't have the ebb and flow that typically make a fight fight of the year.

How can a one sided beatdown in 2 rounds, which resulted in someone being shot be FOTY?

Ko of the Year, no doubt though.

In terms of magnitude, no fight currently lined up can hold a candle to Pac's win.
If Marquez can K.O. Mayweather maybe... (but not reversed)

This just glues the Featherweight's/Jr LW's of the early 2000's as the class of this era.

FOTY is a back and fourth war, not 2 round blow out.

Fight of the year is usually a fight where it's competitive with both fighters making it close and full of action. This was one-sided and pro Pacquiao from start to finish, as short as it was. It is KO of the year so far though and will be shocked if any other fight beats it.

    Mosley-Margarito would be more appropriate.

Wasn't nearly as competetive as JMM vs. J. Diaz.

For however long it lasted, it was still extremely exciting, and while Ricky was actually standing on two feet, there was always that anticipation of what would happen if he actually caught Manny with a hard shot.

I am just saying this because of the way they promoted this fight. They were even mentioning FOY and possible FOD. I always knew the fight wasn't going to last long. After the Collazo fight I knew what to expect of Ricky Hatton. Floyd knew it too, thats why he fought him.

Dunne v Cordoba is the FOTY - if you havent seen it watch it on youtube.

Do a checklist of componants that you want in a FOTY and it has it
