Yes it is similar although Nwodo was already hurt prior to the finisher whereas Gassiev's came out out of nowhere. Both ultra violent KOs and definitely very similar, though.

Who’s Massiev lol.......anyway I know who you mean and that fight was a good en,always had the feeling that Gassiev could take him out when he wanted but either way the KO was Brutal and that stupid Ref should of jumped in sooner as Dorticos still has a career ahead of him.
Badou Jack v Stevenson jumps out for me

You’re right it was masterful, when he keeps his mouth shut Abel Sanchez is one a hell of a trainer,Gassiev looks so polished now as boxer,I marvel at his knockouts as he always keeps his shape, you’ll never see him swinging wildly.

I really like that short hook combination he does to the body. Knows how to place it well.

So do I and that’s an Abel thing, have you seen what Abel makes his fighters do on the heavy bag?you mighta seen Golovkin doing it,he tells em to hit the bag with the arms fully extended, looks like they’re punching round the bag but it actually uses other muscles, the idea being in the ring you can always shorten up your punches and hooks, pretty sure this how Gassiev manages to look so good doing that and keep his shape.

Very interesting and yeah, you can see he's very well schooled with it. It's extremely crisp.

Abel does do great work for sure, he knows what his fighters are good at and aren't, doesn't try to change them. Just makes them better at what they already are.

Usyk - Briedas was an incredible fight, if you're a true fan.

No KO, but both men put on defensive master classes, and the action was non-stop.

And as also mentioned above: Rungvisai vs Estrada.

Not mentioned yet, I don't think: Ronnie Clarke MD'ing Zelfa Barret.
    ------------------

Three amazing fights that didn't end in a KO.

Obvious choices are Loma/Linares and Rungvisai/Estrada but I also enjoyed Garcia/Lipinets. Became a fan of Lipinets despite the loss.

I forgot about Garcia/Lipnets. While the fight wasn't any fireworks. It was a great display of skills. Lipnets gain a lot of fans that night.
