Pavlik - Taylor had me way more excited. This was a who could mug who worse contest.

 

dont think it was as exiting as calzaghe V kessler.

No way. Great finish, but far too much clinching and wrestling during the course of the contest. Add to that that only one fighter was landing qulaity punches and it can't be classed that high. Great event yes, but far from a great fight.

 

Hell no, but the undercard gets a collective "worst fight of the year" award.

 

It was a dirty fight, its one of the top fights this year but not the number one.

My vote for FOTY goes to Marquez-Vazquez II or Pavlik-Taylor, now these were all action packed bloody fights.

 

It was a great fight. Displayed both the boxers abilities and also showed who is p4p no. 1 in the world of 2008. Fight of the year

Serious WTF did you guys just watched.

I didnt just watch a fight, I just watched a referee step in between 2 fighters who were TRYING to fight.

I can name about 20 fights this year that were FAR better than that
