You had Linares winning every round if I remember correctly. The fight had tension, and Linares look as dominant as ever the round before getting stopped.
Yeah. It was pretty routine and boring. Despite the blood, DeMarco really hadn't done **** until Linares slowed down and became an easy target for him.
Matter of opinion. If you guys want to sit through the whole thing a bunch more times, feel free. I'm all set with seeing any of it but the 11th round again. :conf
The only thing that stings it for me is thinking DeMarco should have gotten an extra few seconds before the stoppage. He was probably done anyway, though.
How about: "In reality, it was a one sided beat down where Vazquez won a maximum of three rounds. The only interesting part of it was questioning when it would be stopped, and it happened too late." That good?
Berto vs ortiz was intense stuff and the winner had so much to gain (future fight with floyd or pac was always on the cards) and it brought out the best of both fighters
Ortiz vs. Berto was a great 6 rounds. The last six they understandably slowed down. Wolak vs. Rodriguez was action packed from bell to bell, but not very skillful. Maidana vs. Morales was action packed with elements of skill.
Rios vs Acosta is my FOTY no doubt. Beginning of the fight Acosta looked way to much for the challenger who turned it on like a mothu****er later on. It was unexpected, violent and proved the heart and will of one the best fighters (I didn't say boxer) in the game today. Berto vs Ortiz is number 2.
