    It has historical significance that other fights won't have so that adds a lot to an already great fight. So why the hell not. Sorry for double post

    Haven't seen Vasquez Marquez three yet but that one was apperently unbeatable. I don't know. You seen both?

    i believe it has to be one of the frontrunners now. certainly this, marquez-vasquez or pac - marquez. from the drama, to the historical significance, to the upset, it has the ingredients to be fight of the year.

    Vasquez-Marquez 3 was the best so far IMO and this was second. Both are epic fights no doubt.

    I don't foresee any other fight surpassing this great experience, really. But I hafta be reasonable about this in two frames of thought: 1st. I seen the fight at the fight. That has a great impact on one's impression of a fight in most every aspect. 2nd. Let us not forget about Casamayor and Marquez on 13Sep. That promises to be a great one, dontcha think?

    The result was shocking and the fight was great, but I think Vazquez-Marquez III was clearly a better match. Watching that fight live on TV was one of the most dramatic, tense, exciting experiences I've ever had watching any kind of event.

    was FOTY for me. The whole fight was shocking to watch. Cotto hitting margarito with shots that would knockout or at least stop any welterweight in the world from coming forward. But no. Margarito keesp coming. then the shocking turn in round 7, then the shocking finish. Unbelievable fight.
