See, this is what happens when scumbags like Al Haymon aren't involved. HBO actually will pay for a decent opponent for GGG, instead of just giving all the money to the "A" side in showcase fights. If GGG were a Haymon guy, he'd be getting $1 million and Geale like $100,000.
Perez is not short of money but I agree he is getting robbed....the principle is all wrong,for two evenly ranked fighters the purse should be split.In this case I believe both fighters wanted to fight so I doubt either was looking for more that the other.
Only just found out Adam Booth is training Perez. I wonder what percentage of the purse is going to him... shame for Perez. If he wins though then good pay days on the way.
