Does anyone know any specific or roughly accurate fight purses for certain big fights

    as a example

    Enzo Maccarenelli V David Haye

I heard Enzo got about £250,000

    and Haye got about £750,000.

A manager would only get 25% if he was training the fighter as well - I would imagine.......

You don't have to pay the trainer 10% of course.

There won't be a rule that says a trainer has to earn 10%.

It will just be a common courtesy - I would be surprised if the likes of DLH pay trainer's fees of 10%, or Amir Khan (probably now yes)

When Hatton and Warren hit the courts, papers were released which detailed the purses for the Tszyu fight (and certain others)

Hatton got £900k for the Tszyu fight, that much I am 99.9% sure of (I'm working from memory).

I seem to remember Oliviera was about £400k (for Hatton) - and Kostya got £2.5m.

Fúcking huge money, no wonder Kostya agreed to come over here and fight at 2am lol.

Trainers don't have to get 10%. For example Nacho and Roach did not receive 10% of their fighters purses for the Pac-DLH fight. Both of them worked for a fixed rate independent of the purse. If that had been the case both trainer would have took home between £1-4m each which is absurd.

Some fighters may decide to give their trainer a share of the purse but as they earn bigger purses it's more likely they'll pay their trainer a fixed amount for fights rather than a percentage of the purse.

all depends who your promoter is. warren fighters make much better cas than most. ppv and all that comes into. Carl Johaneson picked up a career high purse of 30k agaisnt Mitchell, and when i spoke to vinny kevins brother he said kevin get a minimum of 50k a fight.

I know a former British Champion, and he told me once he was making 50k for a title defence, but after deductions, (Manager/trainer/training expenses/taxes etc), he expected to take home 10k tops.

Euro is the biggest domestic earner. British title isn't a big spinner these days 50k?? I think he's joking... As for Mitchell picking up 50 per fight... I highly doubt that.

yep i agree, £20,000 is more like it, minus cornermen wages, hotel, flights for the whole team, hotel meals

    take home about £15,000

unless your paul appleby and get offered £75,000 i think it was.

Enzo earned a flock of sheep and a 3 litre bottle of cider, he was overpaid.
