At the time I thought boxing was simple what you see going on.. 2 men punching each other doing something they have always done.. I thought this "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather guy was just some thug but then there were glimpses into his personality where you can see part of it is contrived for the camera and part of it was real.. it was contrasting.. nevertheless I was hoping for a good fight as I had seen Gatti before and had seen Mayweather.. I thought both were good fighters..

What inspired me truly was not only the 1 sidedness of it but just the way it looked.. I mean I had seen boxing before.. I had seen knockouts before.. but I had never ever seen a fighter so much outclassed in so perfect a manner as I did with what Floyd did.. he looked like perfection in there.. and then to see the emotion after.. its because he has a belief in God no matter what and knows how blessed he must be.. a lot of you guys will never know how hard it is to be that good.. if it was easy other fighters would fight like Mayweather.

As I said.. the perfection of the way he looked in there especially in that last round I must have seen it 100 times that night.. it just captivated me how good its possible to look. Not to mention the emotion displayed at the end saying "God is great" just further cemented my belief in God as well and I can honestly say Mayweather helped me in my relationship with God and thats something that cant be accounted for

Holyfield v Tyson was cool. But as an inspirational story I like Steve Robinson.Normal bloke from Wales, decent enough part time fighter(fight anyone won plenty but lost a fair few 9 I think) working in a warehouse.Gets a call at very short notice for a world title shot. Not only wins it but makes defences against fighters considered out of his league.Ok he carried on fighting a bit too long but he is a cool guy who rarely gets a mention.

  6. Tyson-Douglas because it was SO shocking. It felt like the world had been turned upside down in an instant.

Cassius Clay-Henry Cooper As a kid I got to go see that fight. All we'd heard about Clay was his bragging. We went to that fight hoping to see Henry shut Clays mouth.
He did too at the end of the fourth round but clever corner work by Angelo Dundee gave Clay extra time to recover. When he came out for that fifth round Cass wasnt playing any more he slashed Henry's face to ribbons. I went to that fight hoping to see Clay destroyed but left it a life long fan. Ali truly is The Greatest!!!!
