Dude I had the idea of a similar thread but instead of fight, I was thinking more of a special fighter. Anyways one of my very first fights fully watching that got my attention was Chavez Vs Camacho. Chavez was determined that night, no way in hell would he let his people down after what Camacho had said before the fight.

Really..? When I saw Lewis get KTFO by Rahman... prior to that I had seen boxing some, but that was really funny and amazing to me.

I saw Hearns at an amatuer card last weekend and realized it was almost 30 years ago that he KO'd Pipino. Wow.

I can't really remember a first specific fight, but I grew up on Shane Mosley. Shane will always be one of my all time favorites.

As a child I remember being terrified of Mike Tyson especially after seeing the beatings he gave the rather friendly and likable Frank Bruno.

But I didnt have a keen interest in the sport until a few years ago when I saw ODLH vrs PBF, for some reason (something to do with PBFs 0 I think!) something about that fight grabbed me.

When I was a little kid, my Pop-Pop took me to see a lot of fights, but the one that sealed the deal:

Willie "The Worm" Monroe vs Eugene "Cyclone" Hart at the Old Spectrum!

He was a big Hart phan, so being an ornery kinda kid, I naturally cheered for the Worm just to be different! Monroe put on a brilliant display in taking the decision and he has been my favorite Phighter ever since!!!!
