Bellew should be finishing him, but I think he punched himself out.

    What a crazy fight.

I've said it for months, I knew it. Over the moon. All that stick Bellew got on here. He deserves respect for that performance.

Haye was winning the fight before the injury. Anyone who says different is deluded by hating haye

I think people will give him credit. It's just more a case some poster's making it out like Bellew put on a masterclass and this was predictable - while the injury was the deciding factor unfortunately (as in unfortunately, event wise).

The only credit I give Bellew is for taking Haye's hooks and staying up right. His footwork was decent too.

But come on man, he barely managed to take out a sitting duck of a target. Same thing happened with Cleverly. Bellew has zero composure at these moments, apart from Makabu where his onslaught was brilliant.

He doesn't come out with too much credit for stopping a guy late when he could barely stand. He also tired out a bit and had to take breathers during rounds. Haye was winning before the injury and only narrowly lost the rounds after it due to punch output.

He gassed thats why, he punched himself out. He's carrying a lot of extra weight.

    He gave it everything

    So did Haye.

I thought tonight there was only one warrior going in there but turns out there was two.

You talked about how inaccurate he is and you're right. I lost a potential £70 in round 7 and £80 in round 8 cos he couldn't finish him. Credit has to go to Haye though, I didn't think he could take that punishment.

Bellew definitely punched himself out. Although I have to say, if it was Bellew taking that punishment in round 7 & 8, I think the ref would have stopped it.

I know I'm getting carried away by the romance and drama of it all and I'm gonna watch the fight again if I can get this box office thing working.
