I wouldnt hold out on Pac-Mayweather because its just like you not saving money because you are waiting to win the lottery. Pac-Mayweather's tickets are going to be through the roof and they will sell quickly (I think). With Cotto-Marg you are going to get a great fight with a great atmosphere with a relatively cheaper cost.
I'm in a similar situation. I am going to Alexander/Bradley but I can drive and be back home in 24 hours or so. My wife and baby are allowing me to go to Vegas once next year for a fight so I'm probably just going to go on 4/16 and see Pacquiao-Mosley. I went to Mayweather-Mosley and would love to go see Mayweather again but who knows what's going on there. I figure seeing Mayweather and Pacquiao fight in back-to-back years is pretty good and I don't want to wait and wait only for nothing to happen with Mayweather. I would love to take a stand and boycott Pac-Mosley but I am weak
Good point but just being in Vegas would be something ! What happens with weigh in's ? Is it a ticket affair or like a first come first serve type thing ?
1) Klitschko-Haye 1a)Pacquaio-Mosley 2) Martinez-TBD(Mayweather, Berto, Bute, Pavlik rematch ) 3) Dawson-Pascal rematch.
I am starting to lean towards the Cotto vs Marg rematch if its in New York as I have already been to Vegas and have not been to New York ! And even if the Pacman vs Mayweather fight gets made theres no way I am going to get tickets ! If I am going to watch the fight on a big screen in Vegas I may aswell watch it on a big screen in the Pub! lol
They're mulling the possibility of Giants Stadium, which is just outside of NYC. I wouldn't wait on Mayweather-Pacquiao. Even if it happens (I think chances are slim at this point), tickets will be impossible to get. You'd just wind up watching on a big screen a few buildings over. In terms of going someplace interesting, Hozumi Hasegawa vs. Jhonny Gonzalez is likely to take place in Tokyo the first half of next year, though that might be a pretty rough trip for just a weekend.
Go to Vegas Lite, aka AC for Sergio's next fight... too bad tickets will actually be tough to come by this time.
