What a brilliant fight that was. Given Tyson is always accursed of being boring I think that might change. Fair play for Tyson/Warren taking the gamble.
Everyone who had a bet on Fury for a win or ko , an everyone who bet on Wilder for a win or ko , lost ther money . Sportsbet is the winner .
It’s not amateur boxing, you don’t just win rounds on landed shots. Fury lost 3 rounds in my opinion, 2 of them rounds were 10-8. I had it 115-110 and only a huge dislike of the lad can make you think that was a viable draw. Was a great fight though, I didn’t think Wilder would land but he did, fair do’s.
I know it's not amateur boxing but I still didn't see enough very clear rounds to Fury. Don't get me wrong - he won the majority of the close rounds and if anyone won the fight it was him. But there were enough close that I think it's not too hard to see Wilder winning a few. The whole point with close rounds are that they can go either way.
I saw only one round (2nd) where I could say Wilder won it. Fury bossed the fight, he made him miss loads (defence), he showed better ring generalship and effective aggression. Wilder’s jab was very good but they were single shots. Fury was doubling his jab up and landing with the straight right before spinning off him. Apart from them superb knockdowns, he couldn’t do anything, he couldn’t enforce his will on the fight whereas Fury was...that’s what you score the fight on.
