i want to discuss fight when one boxer has been badly written off. i dont mean fights like douglas tyson. douglas was written off for good reasons

i would say the greatest case i have known is MAB before he fought morales for the first time. he was a 3/1 underdog based on the junior jones fights between the two

    Tszyu vs Mitchell 2

Only Aussies picked Tszyu to win. After the injury his age he was a big outsider.

Also the biggest one i feel would have to be Braddock v Baer

    I picked Tszyu!

Famous ones: Ali was written off big time going into the Rumble in the Jungle.

Duran stepping into the ring against Barkley.

Tommy was considered gone when he took on Hill.

Pazienza winning a title at 154lbs.

Toney in his fledgling fights at cruiser and heavy. Everyone thought he was too fat and wouldn't have any power - and he has produced some great performances and wins.

Well if they didnt thought much of him period or not is besides the point,
Zab lost that fight imo for the complete disrespect of showing he did in that fight, from trying to low blow Bladomir in the intros, to whinning like a ***** in the post fight, and blaming King, He lost that fight fair and square imo. Yeah he was ahead in round 7, but he only lost 2 rounds of the first 6th. Than ran way from rounds 8-12, I could not score ANY rounds for Zab because of that. Baldomir sure prove himself in that fight imo.

Than the complete disrespect he got on the fourms after the victory. And how Gatti was going to whoop Baldomir in next fight.
Baldomir is underated imo. Dont get me wrong, I not saying he is great, but he is decent to good.
