i think fightcamp 360 is by far so much better , on 24/7 it seems to be teh same stuff episode after episode although the face off on hbo is very good. the stuff on 360 like what happensen the fight but outside the ring is good , the trash talk at weigh ins etc , the aftermath of a fight and what the other members of the teams do in and around fightnight give the fans the chance to see what its like when you actually go to a fight. i always remember the negotiations when gary shaw showed how much an ass.hole he was by crying over everything lol its a great show that hopefully will be used again in the future
HBO 24/7 is MUCH better directed and put together better .Better direction, Camera work, narrator, narrators epic script, and the show just "flows" much better than 360
I like them both for the reasons stated in both posts up there. The HBO 24/7 formula I can never get sick of. It's always amazing.
I like them both, but for me, Fight Camp is better because you don't have a narrator in the way of letting the fighters themselves telling the story (although the narrator for 24/7 is damn good)
I like both. 24/7 can fall flat at times which Fightcamp 360 never does since it doesn't rely on the drama aspect, but at the same time it never really gives that sense of awe that the HBO production is really capable of giving viewers at time. I think it depends on the fighters and their camps, and how much training VS personal insight we want to see between the two fighters, but in general I prefer the quality of 24/7.
Depends a little on what you're after, but to me Fight Camp is better. It has the clear advantage of giving the eventual breakdown of the fights they're hyping from different angles and getting crowd/corner reactions during and after the fact. 24/7 is more about the stories behind the fighters and the training, but tends to lean towards the boring for me, while Fight Camp is more about the fights themselves and the aftermath, giving fairly scant details about the fighters themselves.
I feel like sometimes once you have watched on 24/7 you have watched them all. I don't get that with fight camp 360. I mean I love 24/7 and I always watch them but where Pac and Mayweather are concerned it's the same stuff. Fight Camp seems to show you a bit more and from a variety of different fighters that you maybe didn't know much about before, certainly not to the extent of Mayweather and Pacquiao. Also the post fight, fight camp 360's a ****ing brilliant.
Nothing will ever touch the very first 24-7 episode (Oscar-Floyd). Throw in the Cotto-Marg one, too. However, I’ve come to like Fight Camp 360 more. You can never guess what’s going to happen in it, whereas 24-7 has been applying the same, recycled stuff for 4 years. Even when they’ve introduced new characters, you grow sick of them after 2 episodes in. But in fairness to 24-7, they are required to provide 4 episodes for one build-up to just one fight. Whereas Fight Camp 360 has had the benefit of making just 1-2 episodes for 2-3 build-ups of 2-3 different fights. They have a lot more to work with, and can condense more interesting stuff in just one episode. HBO can’t do that. They have to stretch theirs out.
