Another poster said this in the main forum: "Wow! Kownacki knocks out Washington - Washington knocks out Helenius - Helenius knocks out Kownacki. See why we love boxing so much?" While it's not super uncommon, it is interesting and it does make boxing fun. What are other instances in which this happened over the course of boxing history? I'll start with Foreman beating Norton and Frazier easily, Ali losing to both (and not having an easy time in the rematches), but Ali dispatching Foreman.
Hearns-Duran-Barkley Mosley-Forrest-Mayorga - such a yoyo was 147 for a few years Cotto-Mosley-Margarito - handwraps controversy ofcourse Castillo-Casamayor-Corrales - again a bit controversial as Casa arguably beat Castillo and Castillo avenged his KO defeat Jones-Harding-Tarver (although Tarver also won the Harding rematch and Jones won the first Tarver fight so maybe not as good) MAB-Junior Jones-Morales (MAB definitely got the better of Morales in the series for my money) MAB-Morales-Pacquaio (this was maybe seen as more controversal as Pacquaio won the Morales series but Morales was past prime) Marquez-Gainer-Norwood (although I had Marquez beating Norwood)
Leonard, Hearns and Hagler and Duran. Although Leonard came out ahead against all of them, but the styles were so different you really didn't know what would happen. This is boxing. Not too many guys can beat everyone. Ali struggled with Norton and Frazier. Foreman wipes out both those guys and Ali outclasses Foreman. This is what makes it interesting.
