Should the combatants' disposition be divorced from scoring in boxing?

  1. Yes they should be separate. All scoring ought to be objective and devoid of stylistic preference.

  2. No, they're integrally connected. Punish even tactical retreat & reward even ineffective aggression.

I dunno he did manage to land clean punches usually by tapping him with the right jab and following up with the left hand.

He was trying to frustrate Canelo as well by keeping him out of range all the while dealing out consistent damage in hopes Canelo starts fading. When Canelo fades and is desperate Lara likely expected to dominate him.

Canelo was fit enough to not fade and managed to find an effective attack digging in Laras body and looking for shots upstairs.
