i voted Pac....mayweather cherry picked too much to keep his "0", and i feel Pacs accomplished more then Bernard

 

pac for me is a distant third from those two

 

Right now, B-Hop. By 2010, it could very well be Pacquiao. Depends on how things go for him. If he beats Marquez decisively, then another top quality lightweight like Campbell or Guzman, and then maybe even wins a title at 140, then it could be him.

But that's all speculation. Just now, I say it's Hopkins.

Mayweather was a superbly-talented fighter, but his resume as it is is just not good enough to be called Fighter of the Decade, no way.

 

Hopkins. It could change if Pac can beat DLH and others. PBF is part time.

 

jones was easily fighter of the 90's i'm sure you'll agree, based on his talent. did he have the best " resume " as you say ?

If Cotto would've beaten Margarito and gone on and still beat some solid fighters it would've been him.

Mayweather was fantastic, won titles in lots of different weight classes and beat Hatton before people were saying he was shot and he was still given at least half a chance. Means something, he was a dominant champion himself and had beaten Kosta Tszyu. Win over Corrales marred a little bit in some peoples eyes due to Chico's mental state at the time. Gatti was a human punchbug and Baldomir was just plain awful.

Hopkins was very good, has some great wins, one of the best fighters of BOTH decades, but for me it has to be Pacman.

Exciting brawler to what appears to be a sorta boxer-puncher as stupid as that sounds. Okay, David Diaz wasn't the best LW, but barring a huge disaster against DLH Pacman will remain favourable in most peoples eyes, whereas Mayweather to some is a bit annoying, pacman has blended an all-action style with success, fought guys that could actually beat him, had his rivals......he's got the story as well I guess.

I went with benard though, cuz his resume is just too impressive. I wouldn't have voted floyd, but I still feel like he didn't always fight the best opponents he could have, and that imo hurts his rep.
