The "legit" WW king is Floyd Mayweather Jr. He is the lineal champ, not Mosley.

But Floyd is no longer the lineal champ for beating Baldo....Shane took that over with beating Margo. The undefeated thing is Floyd's support for being one of the very best P4P, but in terms of ranking in his division right now he's #2 or #3 at the moment behind Shane.

:rofl I know it's hard for you to get on my level bro. You have a very limited knowledge base for this particular sport. Don't get frustrated.....learn somthing. My two cents are free.

The concept of lineage doesn't allow for someone 'retiring' then fighting again in the future. If you fight again you weren't retired.

Not true.......if you retire you are no longer in the ranks...you no longer have the title or hold any belts. It becomes vacant...including the lineal title.

Mayweather is fighting now, therefore was not retired, by any rational definition of the word, no matter what he said at the time.

The original concept of lineage revolved around beating 'the man'. Mayweather was the man who beat the man and is still unbeaten and fighting now, so it is true to the original concept to consider him 'the man' now.

In my opinion, if a linear champion says they are retired, then the normal procedures for resolving a vacancy should be followed. If the champion returns before the vacancy is resolved (and the consensus opinion with regard to the WW division was that the vacancy had not been resolved) then he shouldbe considered still champion.

Hey...I understand your angle but it just isn't the case. Floyd if he never left and came back would still be the lineal champ. But once he officially retired he lost his belts and titles. And he got that title from Baldo..who got that title from Zab...who got that from Spinks. I'm not too sure if ANYONE really considers Floyd the WW Lineal Champ would do so knowing that Shane who beat the best WW in Margo shouldn't be the lineal champ.

Whatever makes your crazy mind stable, cling to it!

However, there is a better alternative - ECT (electro-convulsive therapy). Just get two wires, plug the ends of the wires into an eletrical outlet, and place the other ends of the wires on your head.
