i cant believe we are at the end of this decade. it feels like yesterday that we were going into the millenium. i remember everyone was concerned about what the decade would hold for us boxing fans after 2 crap years in 1998 and 99

i know we still have 9 crucial months to go which will affect who gets this nod. but i think that Bernard Hopkins, manny pac and PBF are a lock for the top 3

Mayweather may be the most talented but i dont think he has achieved what bhop and pac have. he is a lock for third but should he make and win a superfight with cotto or mosley, i may change this

i will make pac my number 1 if he beats hatton. if not, should hopkins beat adamek convincingly i will give him the nod

Here is my pick of the rest:

    4: Joe Calzaghe
    5: JMM
    6: MAB
    7: winky
    8: Morales
    9: Mosley
    10:Vasquez

David Haye will make the list if he beats klitchko. winky could go higher if he beats williams

Mormeck was the ring champ, as well as being recognised as the number 1 fighter at the weight

We still have another year after this one.

Year 1 was year 1, there was no year 0.
    1-10 was the first decade. 11-20 followed, then came 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-80, 81-90, 91-00, 01-10... 2001-2010.

Same here, though a case could probably be made for him already.

pacs leading at the moment for me

but the past and future achievements of bhop could unsurp him

if hopkins beats adameck that will make him a number 1 champ in 3 divisions. pac has only established himself as the man in 2 divisions. JMM is the man to beat at lightweight. that diaz fight proved nothing. he needs a win of a cambell or JMM to establish any cred as a champ at that weight

hopkins has yet to be conclusively beaten at any weight. the calzaghe and taylor fight could of gone either way
