No because I wont. I didnt cry when GGG was blatantly robbed TWICE!! by the Ginger Ped's basher & his backing band The NSAC & Vegas boxing corruption. Ginger KNOWS himself he didnt really win those fights but isnt MAN enough to admit it. Really I dont expect the FOD voting to be any different. The corruption of late has been so blatant NOTHING surprises me The Good part about all this is the REAL boxing fans know who the real champions are **** the fakes who rely on corruption
In a fair and unbiased world the results would be the same the scores would just be different, Canelo-Trout was a close fight vs early on that was indeed ruined by open scoring after 8 Canelo was up 5-3 in a competitive bout but scoring had him up 9 -0 after the knockdown instead of finishing strong he visibly laid off the gas and allow Trout to make it a closer fight than it originally was. In a fair world Canelo-Trout was a 8-4,8-4,7-5 UD for Canelo instead of a blow out Canelo-Lara was a fight that was interesting early it looked like Lara might out box Canelo after the first 4/5 rounds but after a bodyshot in round 5/6 Lara opted to run the entire rest of the fight i don't think i gave him another rond until the 11th but due to the low punch output mainly due to Lara's running I can see a range of close scores. in a fair world Canelo-Lara was a 7-5,7-5,5-7 SD win for Canelo instead of that one weird 117-110 card. Canelo-GGG I was a draw both fighters held a decent account of themselves, Canelo won the first 3/4 round clear GGG dominated the entire middle portion and won the next 6 straight rounds, but he let Canelo win the Championship rounds and salvage a draw I could see 1 or 2 rounds being switched around but in a fair world, Canelo-GGG I was a 6-6,7-5,5-7, type draw Canelo-GGG II when I officially scored it was a 8-4 win for Canelo better defense, better combinations, better punches overall, GGG got beatdown for the most part while he had his moments unlike the previous 3 mentioned fights i don't see how this fight is controversial at all so I won't comment on scores but 8-4,7-5,7-5 Canelo UD should be the result. wasn't going to mention Mayweather but i personally thought this fight was closer than most definitely not a MD but i gave Canelo 4 rounds off activity and bodywork, yet had Mayweather winning clearly the draw in this fight might be the most egregious score. overall though the right person won each one of these fights.
These are your opinions & you are entitled to them BUT It doesnt make them right when the Majority of boxing people & boxing fans disagree
Of course you cried, you're still crying about it even today!! Even in this post hahahah.. You need to let it go and move on man, do it for your pets.
You know what ?? My Pets, as you call my furry family, ALL know more about boxing than you'll ever know. If you understood the sport you wouldnt worship the Ped's abusing, corruption needing cowards that you do
Castillo didn't make weight for that fight thou, he weighted about 4 pounds above the lightweight limit. But I did already admit Corrales was past it when Clottey fought him and out of his effective Div. No one had Walters at top 10, like I said name me 2 elite fighters he fought who were actually natural FW? Clottey arguably should have drew with a HOF, WW Cotto and fought a possibly plastered Margo in a close bout, and lets be honest, Doniare was a beast in the lower weights but he was wasn't much of a champ at FW. Name me 1 meaningful W Walters have other than a blown up Donaire and an even more more blown up and a shot to pieces Darchinyan? Postol had 1 good win in his career against damaged eye Lucas, the man should have lost against journeyman Jamshidbek Najmiddinov in his next fight after Craw were he was arguably knocked down 3 times in 10 rounds but was helped both by the hometown refs and the judges and subsequently he got beat by a green Josh Taylor afterward, if Postol is a fighter's best win then he shouldn't even be considered for FOTD. Indongo on the other hand got whooped by Prograis in 2 rounds, the man was a paper champ, old Ricky Burn and Troy are not strong champs like you are making them out to be, you can't blast 2013 Rios and Algieri for being mediocre competition and then act like beating those 2 former guys are a big deal. Fact of the matter is, being undefeated and even unifying means very little if you don't have the names to support that, I give Spence a lot more credit for beating Damaged Brook, Mikey G (who was technically the lineal @ 140) and Porter compare to craw for beating Postol, Indongo and Dulorme (?) to become undisputed of that wasteland division.
Don't worry about who I worship or don't or for what reasons I do or don't. 'Instead focus on talking boxing using facts, logic, and have a good time doing it.
That is exactly what I do focus on & I have a wonderful time doing it. The sad state boxing is in today is not how I'd like to see it though. $$$$$$$$$$$ RULES EVERYTHING
You can't change history for people who lived it. The consensus at the time was that Lara deserved to win but it was close, and massive majorities of people (80/20) agreed that GGG beat Canelo both times.
One last thing, but didn't Corrales actually weighted the same or even more than Clottey at fight night? The fight was at 149, and Clottey apparently weighted 166 pounds at fight night while Chico's weight supposedly blew up to 170?!
The ring magazine didn't even had Walters rank number 1 at FW after the former's win over Donaire (the peak of Walters' career), Jhonny Gonzalez was ranked higher and I don't think Jhonny sniffed the top 10 at the time. He was in all likehood ranked between 10-25 however, I would conceived that. You over exaggerating Postol's performance against Mathysee, for one, I though the score was 6 rounds to 3 for Postol heading into the 10th, still a clear Postol match but one that is more competitive than what you were describing (Postol was a stylistic nightmare matchup for Lucas as well). Also Lucas took the knee after Postol got him on his damaged eye that he incurred from the Garcia fight, and only got worst after the Provo and Molina jr wars, while Lucas was still the fearsome puncher, let not pretend that he was 100% healthy here, fans certainly didn't give Pac much credit for turning Lucas into a punching bag for 7 rounds. Likewise, their is not much controversy with the Taylor vs Postol match, most though Taylor won a competitive fight (around 115-112) thanks to his late round rally, the only controversy were in the judges scorecards who had Taylor winning by an unjustified blowout. Aydin is a gatekeeper. Lets not overrated Trovanowsky here, his only noteworthy victories were against Cuenca and Di Rocco both of whom are arguably borderline contenders/gatekeepers. He actually just lost his more recent match to Relikh who isn't very highly rated to begin with. Anyway, these convo definitely got offtopic, I'm not here trying to convince the Pac's W over guys like Rios, Vargas or Algieri are great, those guys are paper champs at best, but at the same time lets not pretend that victories over guys like Indongo, Troy, or old Ricky Burns were any better (Postol has that W over Lucas so I rate him higher than these guys, damaged Lucas or not, it was still a quality win). The one guy I would continue to disagree with you about is Clottey, guys like Rios, Algieri, Indongo, Beltran, Sosa and Ricky, the 2 thing those guys have in common is that 1) they each held a belt at one point 2) when they faced true elite competition they all completely folded like cheap paper mache. Clottey on the other hand didn't, when faced against 2 dangerous, prime WW in Cotto and "pre Mosely" Margarito, he held his own and proved that he can compete with the elites, only against a legit ATG like prime Pac he got completely dominated. Now if you think Loma's W over Walters is greater, then maybe you just rate Walters higher than I do, for me, outside of Loma and an undersize Donaire (Darchinyan is gatekeeper lvl with a name by that point), Nicholas didn't really faced top, natural 126/130 pound competition like GR jr, Uchiyama or Leo Santa Cruz (who outgrew the 122 div by 2015) for me to rate him so highly.
Clottey came in at the unofficial weight in fully clothed, jeans, shoes, shirt, belt, wallet, everything. I believe he weighted something like 166 maybe higher, while Corrales weight in at 160 (not sure if he was fully cloth as well). Against Judah @ 147 Clottey actually only weighted in at 156 during fight night. Either way, I dont see a huge difference in size between the 2 come fight night, we are not talking Pac vs Margarito size difference here. Anyway, I actually checked the ring 2010 rankings and he was actually rank number 6 so your comment of Clottey barely being in the top 10 is false, not to mention 2 of the guys in front of him were ATG in their respective prime, the other 2 are no brainer HOF and the other guys was a hot prospect in Berto who was being groomed as a future big fight for Floyd (until Ortiz and Ghost spoiled that).
