Martinez really did deserve it this year, feel a bit sorry if those are the official results. I guess he is getting the Boxing Writers of America Fighter of the Year.

I thought it was Martinez. If its not then its what i was thinking would happen.

The popular fighter got it as usual.

 

I had Manny as my second favourite for it so I don't mind him winning. Though I do feel a little sorry for Sergio.

 

Martinez deserved that.

 

Manny won it in 2009 and won the fighter of the decade. The award has not been given for 2010 yet.

 

Good point. Didn't know it was an event on the 4th June.

How can Sergio Martinez achieve "The Fighter Of The Year" if he lost to Antonio Margarito by TKO. Manny Pacquiao just pulverized Margarito who is 165 lbs and came in two-weight class above Manny Pacquiao and still lost on all the scorecards. That just tells you who is the righteous one to receive the “Fighter Of The Year” and that is none other than Manny Pacquiao.
