Tough one this year, nobody has really lit the world on fire more than once so far. Arce deserves to be in the conversation I believe with two solid wins and bringing the excitement. Maybe even Mikey Garcia, three very nice wins.
Who knows, likely it will be the winner of the Pac-JMM fight if it lives up to the first two bouts.

No real stand outs this year. Nonito should still be in the running. The winner of Froch-Ward should be favourite, or Marquez if he somehow beats Pac. Rios and Gamboa are up there too.

Vitali is another candidate - Adamek and Solis, two crushing stoppages over highly rated opponents [if only Haye had the balls to fight him in December, he'd be almost a lock]

Pacman all the way! The guy is impressive in every fight. Commentators have to try and find something to criticize him about. Pacman is the fighter of the century! All of his fights are the talk of the town.

No one this year, so far, has done anything spectacular enough to be a clear leader for FOTY. When Ward beats Froch, I think he'll get it. Pacquiao deserves as a shout, too, if he convincingly beats JMM. That, coupled with scaring the **** out of Mosley, kinda' rivals anything that anyone else has done this year. B-Hop, unfortunately, had his chance robbed when he got injured. Khan's dominance over McCloskey, Judah, and a good win over Peterson, deserves an honourable mention.

    In order:

Donaire (or Marquez if he wins vs. Pac)
    Ward/Froch winner
Rios (if he wins his last fight this year)
    Pac (if he dominates Marquez)
    Vitali
