Lomachenko. Earned an astonishing record in boxing history - 2 Weight World Champion in Just 7 Fights Knocked out and dominated Martinez and Walters, looked like a TBE. Frampton on the other hand beat Quigg and LSC. However, he had a razor close fight with LSC, with some believing LSC won although I disagree. If you consider LSC-Frampton a fight that was arguably a draw, then screw it, I'll go with that logic and proclaim Andre Ward is my fighter of the year then. The only reason why Lomachenko won't win it is because he's a TBE level talent and everyone expects him to beat everyone. Canelo will even call him out soon.
Quigg was widely recognised as one of the best super-bantamweights in the world. It was a very good win.
how could I forget about Ward?the fight with Kovalev was named as the pound for pound champion but Andres problem was that even though he got the result in a close fight it seems as if the iffy result/decision didn't sit right with most boxing fans and even some Ward fans ś even in victory I'll bet he was surprised that he wasn't given the pound for pound best and because of that I've left him out in favour of Frampton though I could of just as easily gone with Lomo or Crawford.
So was Roman Martinez. They both are because they're titleholders. Either way, the Roman victory > Quigg victory because of the manner and the historical significance.
Dammit Gannicus, stick to 1 profile man... what's the point of pretending to be two separate posters?
Quiggs mistake was following Joe Gallaghers awful advice to the letter, with his fitness he should pressed the action from the start, fair play to Frampton though as he knew the fight would play out like it did. .
Yep. Ear muffs on, head stationary, march forward, wait for opponent to get tired (or not) and go to the 'bodeh'.
