    You cant be serious.

Canelo has single handedly taken boxing back to main stream. What has Usyk done? Many dont rate AJ so his win over AJ is not a big deal. Wake me up when Usyk unifies the titles, till then it is Canelo by a country mile. He is the one making history and destroying everyone.

Canelo won 3 belts within a year. No one has done that!

Beating three nobodies that only hardcores know about, only two of them actually worth a ****..... isn't taking boxing into the mainstream. It's simply Canelo being more active than he usually is.

Usyk beating an international megastar, who was the odds on favorite, when he was a nobody from Ukraine that most casuals hadn't heard of. That's a shockwave, a true epoch. Especially the way he did it, which was by taking him to school.

Brandon Figueroa if he manages to defeat Fulton will have a good claim.

Usyk earned three belts against Joshua (B+/A-)

Canelo earned two belts against Saunders (B) and Plant (B)

    Gotta go with Usyk.

Best nobodies? Yeah 3 champions = nobodies

    Lets talk about some facts

    - AJ is not an international mega star. No one knows him in USA - he only known in the UK and Nigeria. Oh big deal!
    - AJ being odds on favourite means nothing - did you back AJ to beat Usyk? lol - UsyK beating the bodybuilder was expected to nothing special fat Ruiz alread did a better job and in more impressive fashion.
    - Canelo is the face of boxing and the biggest star and has taken the world by storm and won 3 belts figthing 3 fighters within in a year. When was the last time we saw this? Umm... I bet you cant answer that

Agreed! Especially when you consider Uysk went into Joshua's hometown and beat him the way that he did. Let's see Canelo go on the road and win a fight like that. How about Canelo vs Beterbiev in Moscow? No doubt Canelo had a solid year but nothing like what Uysk accomplished.

With that said, Canelo will win fighter of the because of the politics involved. He is the Golden Boy.

You’d have a point... if Canelo beat three champions in 2021.

At that point he has the same claim as Canelo. Two titles and two champs beat. It’d be cool to see Ring giving out FOTY to three fighters, but unfortunately they’ll probably give it to Usyk and Canelo.

Home town? Boxing is global sport hometown means zilch. Its like saying a give credit to Federer because he won Wimbledon because he did not play in his hometown - Once you are in that ring nothing matters. Same with all sports F1, Tennis, golf, UFC you name it. Hometown? lol

As for what Usyk did? Geez fat Ruiz took the 3 belts in a more spectacular fashion. Usyk could not even knock out the glass chined bodybuilder.

Canelo won 3 belts from 3 champs over a 12 month period. The greatest and P4P king. Usyk does not even make the top 10 P4P list.

He beat 3 champs over a year.

People complain boxers dont fight enough - Canelo fights 4 times in a year, beats all undeafeted fighters and champions and unfies all belts people say its not enough? Instead they say Usyk beats a bodybuilder by UD who was previoulsy destroyed and knocked out by fat Andy is the fighter of the year? Lmao!!

Who came back and dominated Andy Ruiz in the rematch 6 months later. Which you conveniently left out. What? Is everything that Lennox Lewis accomplished post-McCall and Rahman losses null and void, because "LMAO, he got KTFO! Derp!" How about Wlad? How about Vitali?

Sorry, I hate to break it to you, but a man beating someone with wins against Klitschko, Povetkin, Pulev, Ruiz, Parker, Whyte on his record, is a hell of a lot more impressive than beating a guy whose best win is Uzcategui and beating a guy who got brutally KO'd by Chris Eubank Jr.

Now, of those three, an argument could be made that Billy Joe is a damn impressive scalp, and to me, he is. Clearly I'm a huge fanboy. But... while Saunders has a tendency to do what it takes to get the job done. Then cruises to a close UD, without taking many risks. That is seen by a lot of other people as struggling. So if we take the matches he cruised in, into consideration, and look at that as struggling. Well.... he struggled against Lee, Eubank, Ryder, Akavov and Coceras. So by your, AJ has a blight on his record!!!!! standard. Billy Joe has quite a few stinkers on his.

Regardless, does any win on the records of the Saunders, Plant and Yildirim compare to 5 best wins? No.
