For an excellent display yesterday as well as his improvements as a fighter in general Maidana But also Mickey Garcia, Bradley, Danny Garcia, Floyd and others are also up there, quite a strong selection to choose from tbh
1. Garcia 2. Rigondeaux 3. Mayweather I don't think you can differ very much from that. These three had the best wins these year and it's not really up for debate. edit: Might throw Bradley in the mix too although he looked dodgy against Provodnikov.
Tough, tough choice. I gotta give it to Timbo. Outgunned by Prov, in no need to go toe to toe with a puncher like Prov, Bradley looked suicidal doing that and showed massive balls of steel in that fight. Then he goes on to outbox legendary Marquez, outfoxing JMM giving him his due respect while landing jabs JMM couldn't shake off and almost flooring Marquez in the last seconds of the last round. The versatility and his incredible will is there. Where he lacks in power he makes up with heart and unstoppable will. Bradley has the best quality wins IMO.
Shiiitttttt........ Went and voted for KOvalev, when I completely forgot all about Danny Garcia. Can I change my vote?????
A case can be made for any of Rigo, Floyd, D Garcia, Stevenson, Kovalev, Maidana, Bradley and I'm probably missing someone from that list. Open year
I chose Kovalev. He fought four times against decent opposition and won all four fights by impressive early KOs.
