    This. :deal
He was fighting @ 140 about a year ago, and then this year fought @ 147 vs Ortiz and beat him, and if he wins @ 154 against a tough Alvarez, he should pull off the Fighter Of The Year.

It's Froch for me - simply because I rate Bute higher than I rate Khan and Ortiz.

Not to mention Froch completely destroyed Bute, whereas Josesito was very competitive against Ortiz in a fight that was hard to score. Now, I know that Lopez went up a lot in weight, but the quality of that fight (not talking about drama) was lower than of two of the top three fighters in the world in arguably the best division in boxing. Ortiz is a good, energic fighter but nowhere near the p4p top 20 which both Khan and Bute was inside by most people's opinion.

Garcia also destroyed Khan, that's fair to say, but Khan has been handled like that before and was given a rough night against Peterson the fight before (even though I had Khan winning). Bute was a bit unproven but had racked up a solid little resume of C/B- level fighters and made it look easy.

Froch walked through his power, which I didn't think he could, and made a brilliant comeback after his comprehensive loss against Ward. Garcia was an even huger underdog, and I don't mind people voting him as frontrunner.

But it's Froch for me. He did what he said he would to to Dirrell: "Smash him to smithereens". He ALWAYS backs it up and has now got his reward for his attitude by getting the biggest win of his career. That deserves some credit in my book.

And of course, Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. gets no love. Upset Rodigo Guerrero, and beat Alberto Rosas in which was a 50/50 fight. Plus, he has another scheduled fight coming up in about 3 weeks and if he wins that, he should have a big leg up for just fighting 3 times in one year.
