I know what you are saying but Hatton will make it a fight. Mayweather can't stay away from him for 12 rounds.

 

I think the fact both PBF and Hatton are both undefeated and probably in there prime of there careers means something to alot of people, if Mayweather wins by knockout it would say alot about how dominant he truly is, and will deserve the fighter of the year nomination IMO.

 

He won't have too, Hatton is not an accurate puncher, therefore Mayweather can slip and land, slip and counter, slip and combo. Get Hatton stunned and finish him off after a bad accumulation of punishment.

Well if you are right that Hatton gets stopped and doesn't win a round I will be big enough to admit I was wrong.

Out of interest how many of Hatton's fights have you actually watched?

 

It's certain that he wins by stoppage, if you've ever analysed what Hatton is all about and where Hatton's ability lays.

However, Hatton is not a true P4P elite and it will show. If Mayweather fights Cotto then he will be lucky to win a razor thin decision, because the fight is sylistic poison for him and Cotto's 2x what Hatton is in accuracy and power, even defence.

Hatton won't be able to rough house Mayweather because he gets clipped everytime coming in due to no jab and a poor guard, he's not the type of pressure fighter that disrupts Mayweather's style, he's easy pickings for Mayweather.

All it proves is that Hatton is not what many thought he was and that Mayweather cherry picks to make himself look good, instead of taking on real challenges at this point.

No, I guess you've seen what matters (apart from the Ben Tackie fight where he boxed brilliantly actually). Look it up if you can.

I noticed earlier you stated Hatton is not accurate, now that is certainly false. Hatton is a very accurate and hurting puncher and he will certainly slow Floyd down if he catches him early.

Just imagine IF Hatton catches Floyd with a left hook to the body early on how do you see Floyd reacting to that and does it change anything?

 

Malignaggi 116-112, a focused Witter vs. Hatton is 50/50, I'll side with Witter for the hell of it.

Depends on if Witter has the power to really ring his bell, he may or may not, Witter is certainly a good puncher, but a 140 puncher, where Hatton has shown a good chin.

I'll take Williams, Cotto, Mayweather, Cintron(even after this bad fight against feliciano, there is a better kermit cintron than that), Margarito and Berto to TKO Ricky Hatton.

Get a better picture where Hatton stands at 147? He's lower top 10, or out completely.

Also pick Quintana over Hatton at 147.

Alas, Hatton may be accurate inside, but he's sloppy on the outside. Cotto on the other hand is brilliant from the outside coming in with a sledge hammer jab, you need a good outside game just to get inside to do your inside work on Floyd, Hatton lacks this.

He's also not the most accurate, he throws in high volume, Castillo was a walking target and his best work against Tszyu was when he was smothering him inside(Tszyu reacts badly to a rough houser, always will with the Soviet style).

Collazo, when he decided to go defensive and counter punch, was owning him, however, Collazo is a B level solid at best, Mayweather hits harder than him, is faster, far better defence, better everything.

This has WIPE OUT written all over it.

 

I believe Hatton will lose, but I doubt by knockout or stoppage. I kinda see it being a easy fight for Mayweather overall, maybe 10 rounds to 2, Hatton will win a couple early rounds just on his aggressiveness alone and it will be down hill from there IMO.
