I'd have AJ in there over Mikey Garcia any day of the week and I'm sure we can all agree on that. Parker and Povetkin easily beats Lipinets and Easter. In fact, I'd argue for AJ having the second best year after Usyk. Canelo has had a better year than Garcia whether you think he beat GGG or not. Callum Smith has had a better year. Inoue has had a better year. Wilder has had a better year.

Not to mention, how about JACOBS? Nobody has mentioned him yet. Derevyanchenko and Sulecki deserves a massive mention and you could argue a case for him being in there instead of the 4 not named Usyk.

There are no excuses whatsoever to not include Daniel Jacobs and AJ in those nominees.

No, Usyk is the obvious choice for fair-minded people.

But I wouldn't be surprised if the likes of Dan Rafael and Max Kellerman vote for someone else. Kellerman has always loved Terence Crawford.

You can't get fighter of the year when the majority of fans think you lost.

Usyk is the obvious winner but Fury and Inoue should of been shortlisted for their years.

    Usyk.

The better question is who deserves runner up.

    Have to go with Usyk.

Would like to see him fighting in first division next year though.
