i think he's in the same boat as david diaz was same weak champ as people view...

jmm and cotto on the other hand, cotto was undefeated and a more lucrative fighter and margo won by KO

Cotto is a better win than JMM and Margo also KO'd Cotto whereas Pac robbed JMM. Cintron is also a much better fighter than Diaz.

And as far as Cintron being better than Diaz, what is Cintron's marquee win? David Estrada? Teddy Reid? Jesse Feliciano?

Diaz might not be the greatest champ in lightweight history but he has wins over Erik Morales and a KO win over Jose Santa Cruz, who should be the Ring lightweight world champ if you want to see what a real "robbed" decision is. The Santa Cruz KO win alone is worth more than the three guys I named for Cintron.

However, I think that Margarito is FOTY as of NOW because he KOed Cotto, while Pacquiao decisioned JMM. In a VICTORY!!!!

 

i would not be surprised if he puts jmm as his FOTY if marquez beats joel "the shot" casamayor if thats what he's thinking.

as of now margarito and pacquiao. it will all depend on what will happen before the year ends. montiel and mijares seems to have a good year too. if they fought each other before the year ends, the winner would be a serious contender for the FOTY also.
