I said earlier in the year that If Lopez were to beat Marquez and then John in the 2nd half of the year...he would most likely pick up the award. But that didn't happen, and at the minute...it's Martinez, and no one else is close.

 

Martinez or possibly Pascal if he thumps Hopkins.

Martinez easily, I thought he just micked the last fight but that was an amazing result from a rematch.

Martinez is almost on lock, but we have to see what Pascal comes out with in December.

 

Floyd should take this. No one has even dared face a prime Mosley this year. Please take into consideration that Floyd fights just once a year. :good

 

For Boxing's sake. I'd like a non-Pacquiao fighter to have it. Outside pac, Martinez is in a clear lead, Pascal and Khan has a chance depending if they win in their upcoming fights and how explosive they could pull it off. Juanma and the super six winner plus Bute had a good year as well.

 

Is it possible to have a tie on this award? In basketball it happens.

There is no doubt in my mind that Martinez should win the award. I want to thank Sergio for a great display of confidence and power in destroying Williams. I have been waiting on someone to do this for years!
