Hey just wanted to know peoples feelings on this, i tend to prefer a good boxer, some one who can use tactics, set traps solid defence foot work, some one who can adapt in a fight, Dont get me wrong you cant beat a good toe to toe fight i love it, it takes a bloody good chin massive hart and alot of guts, but i always think you should rate some one on there boxing . before people think im saying people who like to fight have no skill im not, my list of fighters are all very skillfull but they like to come straight at you, at the end of the day its called boxing not fighting. this is only a quick list to show you what i mean, i could be here all night listing them so i know alot of you will tell me who iv missed but this is just a quicky. I know you get some fighters that can be both a fighter and a boxer but i just want to know peoples opinion on this subject, and not my list, this is just a quick example. So what do you go for Fighter or Boxer?

I like both but I tend to favor the fighter. For example, call me crazy but I'd rather watch Mayorga(huge fan) than say Marquez or Hopkins.

Haye is hardly a 'fighter'. What Johnson are you talking about?

Mosley is more of a fighter than a boxer as well.

True. I see Shane as a boxer/puncher. He does counter punch as you say, but he does like to stand and fight a lot as well. For example I would never say that he outboxed DLH, but rather he outfought him.

I personally prefer a boxer, but at the same time, I love watching a good Vinny Pazienza fight.
