Nope, Ferguson was the one with the good win bonus. Lee did not get that.
I think it was after the second that Lee told his corner he was tired.
UFC has had many issues with weight cuts, they might finally do something about it.
Remember when HBO main events kept missing weight on after another?
Rumours werw that HBO was concidering a penalty.

 

That is the point of draining fighters to their actual weight class, a fighter full of stocked carbs and lard is not at their actual weight.

 

I'd rather fighters fought at their hydrated walk around weight wherein we could see them perform at their optimum level.

 

You can enforce that by making the weigh-ins, right before they enter the ring. Then you will see lots of fighters coming in with 20%~40% hydration...Which is much more dangerous, with partial hydration fighters might be able to start fast, but the fans will get to see more brutal Mid-Late rounds KOs

 

Yeah there's nothing we can do to stop these idiots putting themselves in additional danger in an anttempt to gain an advantage. I'm fully aware of that - I just wish fighters were more sporting and left all this crap out of proceedings.
