Well, it's the 2nd half of 2011 already and this thread has been fished back up again... So I'm not so sure of that :hey

What the **** is Denis Boytsov doing? Does he have fights lined up? He's way too inactive for a rising HW.

He had very serious hand injury from bar brawl(so I've heard). He is fine now so it might be ok after all.

No way. He's being overrated already. Defense is loose and his speed is not where it needs to be. Better hope Vitali doesn't get a hold of him cause Hyped Cuban Heavyweights are what he grazes on in the wild.

That's very possible, it's either that or both bros retiring at the same time in 2013

He has had 2 major hand surgeries recently, before that he had 27 fights in 5½ years time... He will be active again when his hand has healed, and I heard it's going quite well.
And Haye and Povetkin were very inactive as well... Doesn't say much recently.

He is one of the few boxers who at least could land a meaningful punch on Klitschko.

Haye and Povetkin were already ranked and or champions (Denis is ranked like 10th by some sanctioning bodies). I don't think we should use them as staples anyway. Look at where their inactivity has got them.

Didn't know about the hand surgeries. Thinks for the info. :good
